OVER A CENTURY OF EXCELLENCE
J&K Ingredients, Inc. a division of Sausville Foods, Inc., is a family business. We trace our roots back over the last century to 1899. That year Frank Sausville joined his father, Joseph, to form what was then called J. Sausville & Sons. Ever since, we’ve been a leading manufacturer of quality products for the baking industry.

Our first factory was on Greenwich Avenue in New York City. In 1948 we moved to a new plant in Clifton, NJ and today, we continue to do business from a modern facility in Paterson, NJ.

Through the years, part of the company evolved into a wholesale muffin business. Back in the 80’s, this division was responsible for introducing such innovative items as "pre-deposited" muffins and "mini" muffins. The division was sold in 1990.

Today, James Sausville continues the family tradition of manufacturing innovative, natural products for the world’s baking industry. More than two decades ago, we introduced natural "mold inhibitors" and natural “flavor systems” to the industry.

Now our Bred-Mate, Restore and Milk-Free are recognized around the world as the best all-natural ingredients for increasing shelf life and enhancing natural flavor and aroma.
